To share Panopto videos in another course in Canvas, you can follow these steps:

1. Open your course in Canvas.
2. Go to Panopto Video on the left-side menu.
3. Find the video or folder you want to share. Hover over the video thumbnail or title to reveal additional options.
4. Click on the Settings or Share button.
5. Under People and groups, enter the Name of the course you want to share with, click Enter/Return, and wait for the system to find matches. In the drop-down menu select the viewer role. You may select to notify people that they have access to the recording or folder.
6. Under "Who can access this video", you will see the URL for the video. Copy the URL.

Share the Link to the Video or Folder

1. Go back to your Canvas dashboard and navigate to the course where you want to share the Panopto video.
2. Decide where you want to add the video link in the other course. You can add it to a module, page, assignment, discussion, or announcement.
   • For a Module:
     1. Go to the Modules section of the course.
     2. Click the +Module button to add a new module.
     3. Click on + on the upper right corner of your module frame.
     4. Select External URL from the dropdown menu.
     5. Paste the Panopto video link into the URL field.
     6. Type a name for the link in the Page Name field.
     7. Click Add Item and ensure it is published.
   • For a Page:
     1. Go to the Pages section of the course.
     2. Click + Page to create a new page.
     3. Enter a title for the page.
     4. In the rich content editor, paste the Panopto video link or use the Panopto Video icon (next to the electric plug) to insert the link. If you cannot find the icon, click on the three dots to extend the toolbar.
     5. Click Save or Save & Publish.
   • For an Assignment/Discussion/Announcement:
     1. Go to the respective section (Assignments, Discussions, or Announcements).
     2. Create a new item or edit an existing one.
     3. In the rich content editor, paste the Panopto video link or use the Panopto Video icon (next to the electric plug) to insert the link. If you cannot find the icon, click on the three dots to extend the toolbar.
     4. Click Save or Save & Publish.

By following these steps, you can share Panopto videos across different courses in Canvas.
