Chromatography (Certificate)
Advance knowledge in separation science and state-of-the-art instrumentation in LC/GC.
The Certificate in Chromatography program provides the fundamentals of separation science theory, the concepts of separation science, and their applications in solving analytical problems. The program also introduces the operating principles and applications of state-of-the-art LC/GC instrumentation and analysis. Covered topics include chromatographic fractionation extraction, emerging methods for the separation and analysis of complex mixtures, gas and liquid chromatography, optimization of LC and GC separations, and the diverse range of analytical applications amenable to GC/LC analysis.
Coursework from the certificate program may be applied toward a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry degree, provided a grade 鈥淏鈥 or higher was earned in that particular course. Admission to a master鈥檚 program is not guaranteed upon completion of the certificate program.

Admission to a graduate certificate program is limited to students who qualify as non-degree graduate students who hold a bachelor's degree with a GPA of 2.5/4.0 or higher.
Academic transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and the application fee all must be submitted. A professional statement is strongly encouraged.
A GRE score is not required.
