When it comes to the career trajectory of its students, Illinois Tech is fulfilling its mission to provide a world-class education and resources that prepare our graduates for a lifetime of success. Access to internships, co-ops, and entrepreneurship training prepares students for leadership roles in high-impact fields. Right after graduation, our students enter the job market with degrees that are highly valued in the marketplace.

In fact, our 2020 graduating undergraduate class achieved a 84 percent career outcomes rate within six months of graduation (65 percent successfully employed, 14 percent enrolled in graduate or professional school). Among the students reporting salary data, the median starting salary of our graduates who received bachelor's degrees was $60,000 for their first job.

Resources including a committed Career Services team and other special initiatives for entrepreneurs and job seekers provide services that connect graduates with competitive opportunities.
