Computer Engineering (B.S.)/Computer Science (M.S.)
Illinois Tech鈥檚 Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering/Master of Science in Computer Science accelerated master's degree program allows students the opportunity to pursue advanced studies in computer science and complete both degrees in as few as five years.
The undergraduate portion of the curriculum places an emphasis on both theory and practical applications of computer engineering. The graduate program provides advanced study in computer science with detailed knowledge of hardware and software, including designing and using complex information processing systems for a wide range of applications.
Students who pursue this degree are prepared for entry into a doctoral program or research and development career.

Students applying to the Accelerated Master鈥檚 Program must have completed at least 60 credit hours with at least one full semester (12 credit hours) of applicable undergraduate study at the university.
Students must be at least one full-time semester (12 credit hours) away from undergraduate degree completion in order to apply.
Applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0; however, please consult individual departments for specific minimum GPA requirements.
