Program Overview
With the business expertise, management skills, and hands-on experiences in Illinois Tech鈥檚 entrepreneurship M.B.A., you鈥檒l stand out in any business鈥攆rom small startups to large corporations鈥攅specially those that leverage cutting-edge technology for success.
Mentoring and networking are built into the program. Illinois Tech and Stuart have extensive contacts throughout 电车无码's vibrant entrepreneurial and business communities, so you鈥檒l have a wide range of opportunities to connect with startup founders in all types of industries and tap into resources such as business incubators, innovation labs, and Illinois Tech鈥檚 Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship.
Flexibility for working professionals includes in-person courses offered primarily on evenings and Saturdays at our convenient downtown 电车无码 campus. Typical completion times are two years (six semesters) part-time or 12鈥16 months full-time.

Apply your skills, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit to real-world enterprises by developing a prototype, engaging customers and partners, and identifying support and funding in one of three roles:
- Startup Founder: Create a business from the ground up. Identify, investigate, and evaluate the viability of a product or service for a startup.
- Research Commercialization: Experience the process it takes to bring a research-based technology to the marketplace as a product or service.
- Corporate Innovator: Make an impact by completing an entrepreneurial project within an existing company or organization.
Degree Requirements
The M.B.A. Technological Entrepreneurship degree requires a minimum of 36 credit hours (12 courses) as detailed below. All courses are three credit hours each.

- At least four years of professional work experience
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in any discipline; preferably STEM undergraduate
- Official transcript submission with a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- No GMAT or GRE scores required

- Professional statement (statement of purpose)
- Official TOEFL or IELTS score, if required
