Research Interests
Wireless networking: Dynamic spectrum access networks, spectrum occupancy and spectrum management, and wireless interference and its mitigation. Co-founder of IIT鈥檚 Wireless Network and Communications Research Center (WiNCom). Former Executive Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer at Motorola. Chair of the FCC's Technological Advisory Council (TAC). Member of the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (CSMAC). Currently President and CEO of Roberson and Associates.
