Ricardo Magallon

Ricardo Magallon is an adjunct professor at Illinois Institute of Technology鈥檚 Stuart School of Business. He was honored as a 2018 GreenBiz (now Trellis) while working at San Francisco International Airport for his work on the airport鈥檚 Zero Waste initiative and is a 2022 University of 电车无码 Civic Leadership Academy alumni.
He currently manages the Air Inspection Division for Cook County鈥檚 Department of Environment and Sustainability, where he is working to reduce air pollutants, such as greenhouse gas emission and criteria pollutants, from businesses that require air permits throughout the county. He is also leading a $10 million initiative funded by the American Rescue Plan Act to establish Cook County鈥檚 first pollution prevention program for businesses, known as the BRITE Program.
He has dual bachelor of science degrees in biology and environmental science from Loyola University 电车无码 and a master of science degree in environmental management from the University of San Francisco.
