10th Annual Pumpkin Launch

Description
The 10th Annual IIT Pumpkin Launch will be held 1-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Ed Glancy Field. Using pumpkin-launching machines they design and build, student teams compete for prizes for distance and accuracy.
What sort of designs will win this year鈥檚 competition鈥atapult, trebuchet, ballista, or something entirely new? After the conclusion of Pumpkin Launch, IIT鈥檚 Residence Hall Association will host pumpkin carving.
