Deluge, in collaboration with Alicia Bunton, assistant vice president of community affairs, and Michelangelo Sabatino, director of the College of Architecture’s Ph.D. in architecture program, present Echoes of Bronzeville: Glory to the God Box featuring avery r. young, Poet Laureate City of µç³µÎÞÂë, Douglas Ewart and Quasar, featuring Dee Alexander.

Staged within the contemplative environment of Robert F. Carr Memorial Chapel of St. Savior (known colloquially as ‘the God Box’), this program is an ode to the varied faiths of the Bronzeville community and their spaces of worship. This second edition in the Echoes of Bronzeville series will stage a set of performances in the non-denominational chapel, drawing on the spiritual traditions of Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Baha’i. This event will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 3–5:30 p.m. in the Robert F. Carr Memorial Chapel of St. Savior.

Entry is free and open to all with RSVP. Free parking is available on Michigan Ave and Illinois Tech Parking Lot A6.
