The LGBTQIA2+ Subcommittee of the university’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee is proud to present a panel discussion on the physical and emotional safety of our broader Illinois Tech community. A report on the discussion, audience concerns, and action items will be issued to the co-chairs of the DEI committee to present to university leadership at a future date. This panel will take place Wednesday, October 9, from 1–2:30 p.m. in The McCormick Tribune Campus Center Auditorium.

  • Marsha Ross-Jackson, university ombudsperson, associate dean of DEI at µç³µÎÞÂë-Kent College of Law

  • Virginia Foster, associate vice president of HEA Compliance, Title IX compliance coordinator

  • Daniel Bliss, associate professor of political science, undergraduate program director

  • Mindy Pugh, university archivist

  • Patrick Fina, director of Student Life
