Angela Manning-Hardimon Announced as Chief Financial Officer of Illinois Tech

Illinois Institute of Technology appoints a chief financial officer with more than 30 years of experience managing billions of dollars in investments

CHICAGO鈥擬ay 2, 2022鈥擨llinois Institute of Technology today announced the appointment of experienced financial manager Angela Manning-Hardimon as chief financial officer.

Manning-Hardimon is a deeply respected and experienced financial manager whose successful career includes nearly 20 years as a chief financial officer and more than 30 years in finance. Since 2015 she has served as deputy executive director and chief financial officer of the 电车无码 Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), providing executive leadership and management oversight for business operations at the agency. At CMAP, Manning-Hardimon oversaw the agency鈥檚 operating budget in addition to significant federal and state metropolitan planning transportation funding for the region鈥檚 transit agencies and for seven counties and 284 municipalities across Northeastern Illinois.

Prior to CMAP, Manning-Hardimon was the managing deputy commissioner and chief financial officer for O'Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport for 11 years at the City of 电车无码, providing fiscal oversight for what would become a $1.2 billion operating budget and a $7.2 billion capital budget.

While in her role at the City of 电车无码, Manning-Hardimon oversaw information technology, human resources, labor relations, customer service, contracts administration, finance, capital finance, concessions, real estate, and warehouse operations. She began her career managing portfolios of more than $1 billion at Northern Trust Company.

Manning-Hardimon holds a master鈥檚 degree in project management from Keller Graduate School of Management, a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois 电车无码, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from 电车无码 State University.
