CAEE Adjunct Professor Edoarda Corradi Dell鈥檃cqua To Present at International Architecture Exhibition
Armour College of Engineering CAEE Department Adjunct Professor and alumna Edoarda Corradi Dell鈥檃cqua (M.S. Civil Engineering, 2010) will present her project Big Mac Redux in Venice, Italy at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition on Saturday, June 7, 2014. The Venice Biennale has been one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the world for over a century and every other year it organizes an international Architectural event. This year鈥檚 edition is titled Fundamentals and is curated by Rem Koolhaas, who designed The McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC) on IIT鈥檚 main campus.
Dell鈥檃cqua expressed her excitement about being asked to present her project at La Biennale, 鈥淭his was a project that I developed at IIT during the last year of my MS degree when I attended a studio class with Prof. Tim Brown in the College of Architecture.鈥 For the project, the team re-envisioned the McCormick Place East Building in 电车无码 as an indoor park. The design team was composed of Dell鈥檃cqua, Irene Matteini (M.S. Architecture, 2009), and Tim Brown, Studio Associate Professor, IIT College of Architecture.
