received the Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award for her research titled, "Training and Development to Engage African Americans with Mental Illness as Research Leaders."

Undergraduate psychology major . She was recognized by Governor Rauner and The Lincoln Academy of Illinois in Springfield in November.
