Financial Times Ranks Stuart Finance Among Top Programs in 2018 Nationally and Globally

Illinois Tech鈥檚 has again ranked among the world鈥檚 best institutions in the 2018 rankings of pre-experience master鈥檚 programs in finance, published in June 2018 by the Financial Times. Stuart School's Master of Science in Finance degree program is ranked 5th in the United States and 42nd globally.

The  rankings are based on a survey of alumni who graduated three years prior, with criteria that emphasizes their salaries and career status. In 2017 the Stuart program was also ranked 42nd in the world and 5th in the U.S. The program has been ranked domestically in the top 10 since 2013 and is the only finance program in Illinois to be ranked.

The M.S. Finance program was designed to train professionals for careers in financial markets. Core courses cover basic principles of valuation, portfolio management, and financial statement analysis. Students can customize their degrees by selecting from Stuart鈥檚 12 industry-driven concentrations, including financial engineering, high-frequency finance, entrepreneurial finance, and risk management.
