Frank Lane is a featured speaker at the upcoming Future of Brain/Machine Interfaces symposium

Frank Lane, associate professor of psychology, will be a featured speaker at the University of 电车无码鈥檚 on Friday, June 24, 2016. The topic for this symposium is, 鈥淔uture of Brain/Machine Interfaces.鈥

The one-day symposium will explore the background, history, and current research of brain/computer interfaces. Lane鈥檚 presentation, 鈥淓thics of Brain/Machine Enhancements,鈥 will discuss the ethical considerations in prosthetic research and the future availability of prosthetic devices.

The symposium will be hosted at the University of 电车无码鈥檚 Gordon Center for Integrative Sciences at 929 E. 57th Street from 8 a.m.鈥2:15 p.m. The symposium is free and open to the public. Space is still available, so please RSVP with cehlenbach@surgery.bsd.uchicago.edu if you would like to attend.
