Twenty members of Armour Chapter Triangle Fraternity at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) participating in the 6th annual Polar Plunge fundraising event for the Special Olympics of µē³µĪŽĀė are auctioning the opportunity for corporate sponsors to paint their company logo or slogan on the studentsā€™ backs. The winning bidders will have their company name on display as the students take the plunge into Lake Michigan at North Avenue Beach on March 5 at 10:15 a.m.

The fraternity is running two auctions, each of which provides the winning bidder with ten student ā€œbillboards,ā€ at the Polar Plunge.

ā€œTriangle has participated in the Special Olympics Polar Plunge every year,ā€ said fraternity member Paul Rozier. ā€œThis year we wanted to find an interesting way to raise more money for this worthy cause.ā€

Last yearā€™s Polar Plunge raised more than $100,000 for Special Olympics µē³µĪŽĀė. Each of the approximately 400 "plungers" is asked to raise at least $125 before jumping into the lake.
