Counselor and Teacher Tours

A high school counselor attending a campus visit event

High school counselors and teachers play an important role in students’ college decision-making process. Illinois Tech hosts special counselor visit day opportunities just for counselors and teachers. We also offer group tours, which  allow counselors and teachers to accompany their students to our Mies Campus in µç³µÎÞÂë so that students also are able explore our university firsthand.

Counselor Visit Day

Join us at our Counselor Visit Day to learn more about Illinois Tech and how to help your students find the right fit. You'll hear from our team of admission counselors about the application and admission processes, as well as tour our urban campus and explore our state-of-the-art research spaces. In addition to the Undergraduate Admission team, you'll meet with the Elevate College Prep team to learn more about opportunities for your students to be college-ready. You'll also meet additional Illinois Tech staff members to learn about campus life and student support.

CPS Counselor Visit Day

We are hosting a Counselor Visit Day on October 18, 2024 specifically for our µç³µÎÞÂë Public School Counselors. During this event, you will learn about the various initiatives we at Illinois Tech have undertaken to support students from our own backyard – from Runway 606 to The µç³µÎÞÂë Difference Scholarship and more.
