is our online job database that enables employers to perform one-stop recruiting tasks and access students from multiple majors through a single website. Employers will have the ability to create and manage job postings; to screen our diverse population of candidates for vacancies; and to register for Employer Spotlights, on-campus interviews, and our bi-annual career fairs. Use this database to connect with undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni.

If you haven't activated your account, please do so! Handshake is Career Services' primary platform for job search, r茅sum茅, and cover letter reviews, and event and appointment sign-up. All current students with @hawk.iit.edu email addresses have accounts in Handshake.
Alumni
Please follow the steps below to access the system if you already had an account created as a student:
1) Visit iit.joinhandshake.com
2) Click 'sign in with your email address' below the 'Illinois Institute of Technology Sign On' button
3) Reset your password for your @hawk.iit.edu account
4) Log-in using the new password to access your Handshake account!
Protect Yourself from Fraudulent Job Postings
Career Services diligently screens against fraudulent employer postings in our database. However, students should use reasonable caution in all avenues of their job search and employer communications. outlines common fraudulent warning signs, for example, an employer who asks you to send a check to deposit before a job has started. If you notice suspicious employer language or behavior, please report it to Career Services staff immediately.
