The spouse and children of an international student, visitor, or employee may enter with dependent status. Unmarried children under the age of 21 are considered dependents. You may also bring a dependent after initial arrival.
- F-2 status is for dependents of F-1 students
- J-2 status is for dependents of J-1 students/scholars
- H-4 status is for dependents of H-1B employees
- TD status is for dependents of TN status
