Downloading M365 Products
- Visit the Microsoft 365 website:
- Go to microsoft365.com.
- Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
- Download the apps:
- Click on Install apps in the top right corner.
- Select the apps you want to install, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the apps
For iOS (iPhone and iPad):
- Open the App Store:
- Search for the Microsoft 365 apps you need (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Tap Get to download and install each app.
- Sign in:
- Open the app and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
For Android:
- Open the Google Play Store:
- Search for the Microsoft 365 apps you need (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Tap Install to download and install each app.
- Sign in:
- Open the app and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
For Linux:
- Use the web app:
- Go to in your web browser.
- Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account to use Teams directly from your browser
Additional Tips:
- Stay updated: Ensure your apps are always up-to-date to access the latest features and security updates.
- Use the same account: Sign in with the same Microsoft 365 account on all devices to sync your data and settings.
Accessing your Email in Outlook
On Your Browser:
- Go toand sign in via Okta.
- Search for Microsoft 365 Portal or find it under Tools -> University Tools.
- Click on the Microsoft 365 Portal link.
- Navigate to the app menu and click Outlook to access your inbox.
- Click the calendar icon on the left sidebar to access your calendar.
From Your Desktop:
- Download and install Outlook on your computer.
- Open Outlook from the Start menu or desktop.
- Set up your account by following the prompts.
From Your Mobile Devices
iPhone Apple App:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap Mail.
- Tap Accounts.
- Select Add Account.
- Choose Microsoft Exchange.
- Enter your Outlook email address and a description for the account, then tap Next.
- You can add a description of the account here as well.
- Tap Sign In
- Go through our SSO and enter your password and tap Sign In or Next.
- The Mail app may request certain permissions; tap Accept.
- Choose the services you want to sync with your iPhone (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc.) and tap Save.
Android Gmail App:
- Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
- Tap your Profile picture in the top right corner.
- Select Add another account.
- Choose Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- Enter your Outlook email address and tap Next.Tap Sign In
- Go through our SSO and enter your password and tap Sign In or Next.
- Follow any additional prompts to complete the setup.
