In addition to scheduled changes, various systems across the university are constantly updated. In particular, systems that help keep the technology environment secure receive regular updates that aren't tracked in the standard change management process. These systems include, but are not limited to:
- The Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion Prevention System (IDS/IPS)
- The Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool
- Endpoint anti-malware/anti-virus protection software
- Selected vendor/cloud hosted solutions
